In the U.S. Coast Guard, the evaluation of enlisted members is an ongoing, comprehensive process aimed not only at professional development but also at personal growth. During our time in the service, this evaluation spanned across various core attributes including Leadership, Adaptability, Loyalty, and most notably, Integrity. Enlisted personnel were assessed on a scale from 1 to 7, where a score of 1 suggested substantial improvement was needed, whereas a score of 7 was indicative of exceptional performance. The commendation "Integrity, seven" is thus a mark of highest honor, acknowledging actions taken with utmost honesty and moral fortitude, regardless of being under direct supervision or not. It is this principle of steadfast integrity - the commitment to do what is right, even when no one is watching - that inspired the foundation of our suite of businesses. With a name like Integrity 7, we pledge to uphold the highest standards of honesty and transparent service in all our interactions, ensuring that our core values are reflected in every aspect of our operation, across all our ventures.
About Our Family
Welcome to our family’s journey, brought to you by Ann & David Young, a pair of U.S. Coast Guard veterans who set roots in Georgia in 2019. With David’s retirement after 20 years of service, we saw an opportunity to channel his extensive skills as a machinery technician into creating businesses that reflect our core values: integrity, hard work, and the importance of community and relationships.
Our ventures, Integrity 7 Home Services and Integrity 7 Rentals, stem from David’s knack for fixing things and our collective realization of the potential in equipment rental. These businesses are more than just operations; they are our way of building a future for our young sons, emphasizing the values we cherish.
Living in Georgia, our property we’ve lovingly named "The Young Hermitage," embodies our ideal lifestyle. It’s our personal haven where we enjoy gardening, cooking, and spending time with our animals, alongside creating memories with our sons. This space is our retreat, where the simplicity of being together outdoors and hosting friends and neighbors aligns with our ethos.
Our family is deeply connected to our local church and enjoys bringing people together over food, sharing our home-cooked meals as an expression of our love and care.
Through our businesses and how we live, we aim to pass down lessons of integrity, leadership, and the joy of hard work to our children, ensuring they grow up with the example of a life well-lived, anchored in service and community.
